It feels really good to be sharing some of my project life album again. It’s taken a bit of a back seat to things like 30 Lists, Week In The Life, mini albums and other creative experiments. The break’s been good because it’s meant that I’ve come back to it with renewed enthusiasm.
I think you have to do that with ongoing and long term projects from time to time – just give yourself permission to take some space from them, and trust that when you come back to them it will have been worth it.
Here are some of my favourite bits of June…
Look, I’m wiling to accept the theoretical possibility of a future in which I am over these little 2×2 coin pages… but I don’t see it eventuating any time soon.
This quote. I want it tattooed on me forever. My baby’s love.
This was a fun experiment – kind of… quilting with paper? I loved that photo but had a 6×8 page free, so decided to experiment with filling in the difference. I think I like it? It was a good way to use up some tiny bits of some of my fave papers!
Sick babies are the saddest. I hope I’ll always be able to comfort him the way I can now.
I love this little card that I made for recording a funny tweet. I think I’ll be using it again. Possibly a lot.
Some photos need no annotation or embellishment. They are simply perfect as they are.
I am definitely loving the monthly approach. It’s way more flexible than weekly spreads, and the less regimented feel is working for me.
Now to get on with documenting July… and August… and September.
Whee!
