Ah, the vision board! I was so against this idea last year, and I completely turned around on it. So this year I was keen as hell to get snipping and glueing!
I decided to take a similar approach to last year, which was to make a fold out collage that I could keep inside my OLW folder. I like the idea of having all the elements of this project contained in one place, so this makes sense for me.
I cut a piece of cardstock to 12×8″, folded it in half, collaged all over it, then used Basic Grey attach me stickers (reinforced with staples) to put it in the album.
Here’s what it looked like:
A simple, clean cover, which opens out to…
The middle, which is about focussing on creativity, keeping curious, and being playful with my perspective.
Then, on the back, I shifted focus to my big project. Writing my novel. And also developing my writing skills more generally.
This was just as fun as last year. And I love the way the finished exercise looks. It’s busy but pretty.
I used: Old copies of Frankie, Extra Curricular, and Mollie Makes magazines || Basic Grey attach me stickers in pink || Becky Higgins’ ‘Everyday’ edition chipboard stickers || Smooth white cardstock || my Tiny Attacher.
